20,000 food packages distributed among needy people in Kurdistan
Kurdestan (IP) - The second phase of the ‘Pious Help’ exercise during the holy month of Ramadan began with preparing about 20,000 food packages on Saturday in Sanandaj, the capital of Kurdistan Province, western Iran.
Iran Press/Iran News: 18,867 needy families affected by the coronavirus outbreak in Kurdestan Province received these livelihood packages.
Helping facilitate and promote easy marriage is another measure taken by the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in Kurdestan Province, through providing young couples with 500 series of dowry prepared by donors.
The nationwide 'Pious Help' exercise is being implemented in 25 provinces, with the participation of Iranian donors, guilds, athletes, and artists to help low-income families hit by the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
