Ardebil (IP) - An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale jolted Sarein, Nir, and Ardebil in Ardabil Province, northwestern Iran on Monday.
Iran Press/ Iran News: According to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the earthquake occurred at 10:06:09 local time (5:36 GMT) and at the depth of 14 km underground.
The epicenter was reported 6 kilometers from Sarein and 10 kilometers from Ardebil and Nir.
No report has so far been released on the likely casualties or damage to property and infrastructure.
