Mashhad (IP) - The Holy Shrine of 8th Shi'a Imam, Imam Reza (PBUH) in Mashhad, the capital of Razavi Khorasan North-Eastern Iran has been reopened after some 70 days of closure which was aimed at breaking the transmission chain of COVID-19.

Iran PressIran news: According to Health protocols announced by Iran's national Task Force to combat COVID-19 the pilgrims can enter the courtyards of the Holy Shrine one hour after the morning prayers until one hour before the evening prayer by compliance to hygienic principles.

Concurrent with COVID-19 outbreak all across Iran all the holy shrines and the religious places of worship have been closed to pave the ground for breaking the COVID-19 transmission chain, however, all have been reopened as the disease is being contained and controlled through observing health protocols. 207
