Iran, Russia urge sending humanitarian aid to Syria amid COVID-19 crisis
Iran's ambassador to Moscow and Russia's deputy foreign minister stressed the need to provide humanitarian assistance to Syria due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus in the war-torn country.
Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran's ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali in a telephone conversation with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin exchanged thoughts and ideas about the latest developments in the region including Syria, and Yemen as well as Tehran-Moscow cooperation in the most important topics in the international arena within the UN framework.
The two sides also stressed the advance of the peace process on the Syrian crisis within the Astana framework.
