Iran's COVID-19 recovered exceed 132,000: Health Min. Spox
Tehran (IP) - Head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Health announced that so far, 169,425 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, and 132,038 of total infected people have recovered.
Iran Press/Iran News: Kianoush Jahanpour on Saturday, June 6 about the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus said: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to June 6 in the country, 2,269 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 169,425."
527 of new patients were hospitalized.
Fortunately, 132,038 patients have recovered and have been discharged so far, Jahanpour added.
The Spokesman said: "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 75 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 8,209 people have lost their lives in total."
He stated: "2,578 patients are in a critical condition."
So far, around 1,060,126 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry Spokesman said.
The official added that the situation in Khuzestan is still critical and that Hormozgan and Kermanshah provinces also are on alert.
In the past 24 hours, 15 provinces were without deaths and 6 provinces have had only one death due to COVID-19.
