Leader thanks tankers' crew sent to Venezuela
Tehran (IP)- Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, sent a message of appreciation for the jihadi move of the commanders and staff of Iran's oil tankers that transported oil products to Venezuela.
Iran Press/Iran news: In his message of appreciation to the Iranian tankers' crew, Iran's Leader wrote: "Congratulations to all of you dear ones, captains, and ship's crew. You did a great job. Your move was truly jihadi (revolutionary). You made the country proud."
Earlier secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani, said on Twitter on Sunday that Iranian oil tankers are returning home after completing their mission to Venezuela and this means that Iran's active resistance strategy has been effective."
Stressing that the fools who sought the siege of Iran are now themselves besieged by the power of Iran, Shamkhani said that President Donald Trump and US Special Envoy for Iran Brian Hook's call for talks is the proof of this.

Earlier, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, referring to some US moves in the Caribbean, stressed that if Iranian tankers anywhere in the world are in trouble by the Americans, they will be in trouble too.
Despite US officials threatening to block Iranian oil tankers from entering Venezuela, five Iranian oil tankers have docked in Venezuelan ports in the past month and delivered their fuel to the crisis-hit country.
Five ships, Fortune, Forest, Faxon, Petunia, and the Clavel, carried fuel from Iran to Venezuela.
On May 24, Venezuela's envoy to the UN Samuel Moncada has welcomed the arrival of the first of five Iranian tankers in the Latin American state as a major step in its fight against foreign attacks on its sovereignty.
