Iran's COVID-19 recovered reach 148,000: Health Min. Spox.
Tehran (IP) - The newly-appointed spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari said, so far, 187,427 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 148,674 of total infected people have recovered.
Iran Press/ Iran news: Sima Sadat Lari said on Tuesday about the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to June 14 in the country, 2,472 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 187,427."
846 of the new patients were hospitalized.
Fortunately, 148,674 patients have recovered and discharged so far, Lari added.
The Spokeswoman said: "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 107 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 8,837 people have lost their lives in the country to date."
The official stated: "2,781 patients are in a critical condition."
So far, around 1,244,074 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.
According to the spokeswoman, Khuzestan province is still in a critical situation and 6 other provinces are in an alarming situation.
