Iran's COVID-19 recovered number stands at 177,852 : Health Ministry Spox
Tehran (IP) -The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari today said that, so far, 207,525 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, and 166,427 of total infected people have recovered.
Iran Press/Iran News: Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari on Friday 26 June reported the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by it.
The Iranian health official said: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to June 26 in the country, 2,628 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 217,724."
She added that among those newly diagnosed with COVID-19,1356 were hospitalized.
Fortunately,177,852 patients have recovered and discharged so far, Lari added.
The Spokeswoman said: "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours,109 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, in overall 10,239 people have lost their lives in the country to date."
"So far, around 1,557,872 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said. She also went on to say that 2,912 patients are in critical condition.
According to the spokeswoman, the provinces of Khuzestan, Hormozgan, Bushehr, and East Azerbaijan are on alert.
