Isfahan (IP) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Mousavi said that the position of any country in the world in peacemaking and support is not comparable to the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Abbas Mousavi stated on Friday evening in Isfahan that Iranians have always been pacifist throughout history, and this can be seen in the behavior and beliefs of General Qasem Soleimani, the Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, who went to Baghdad on his last mission for peace and reconciliation in the region.

Referring to Iran's efforts to establish friendship and peace in the world, Mousavi noted that Iran's assistance to Afghanistan to form a government, as well as to Iraq in creating peace and supporting the Syrian-Syrian dialogue, has all shown the Iranian people's desire for peace.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman emphasized that despite all the spying of the enemies against Iran, the nation, the military forces and the diplomats of the Islamic Republic want lasting peace.
