Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health said that 240,087 of the total infected patients have recovered and discharged so far.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Sima Sadat Lari on Monday reported the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus, announcing that 276,202 people have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, so far.

According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to July 20, 2,414 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country, out of whom 1,641 of patients were hospitalized, the spokeswoman added.

She said: "In the past 24 hours, 217 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, bringing the total number of deaths to 14,405." 

The total number of the infected in the world has so far reached 14,665,000 and nearly 610,000 have lost their lives and over 8,750,000 have been recovered and discharged from hospitals.
