Iran coronavirus: recovered number reaches over 249k
Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari on Friday in her presser said, so far, 286,523 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, and 249,212 of the total infected people have recovered and discharged so far.
Iran Press/Iran News: Iran's Ministry of Health Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari on Friday reported the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus.
She said, "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to July 24 in the country, 2,489 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 286,523".
1,504 of the new patients were hospitalized, Lari reported.
The Spokeswoman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 215 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 15,289 people have lost their lives in the country to date."
3, 653 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.
"So far, around 2,278,384 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.
According to the spokeswoman, the provinces of Mazandaran, Fars, East and West Azerbaijan, Khorasan Razavi, Alborz, Khuzestan, Lorestan, Golestan, Kerman, Zanjan and Ilam are in the red alert.
