More than 265,000 patients recovered from COVID-19: Health Min. Spox.
Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari on Saturday said that 262,830 patients have recovered and discharged so far.
Iran Press/ Iran News: The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari said: "In the past 24 hours 2,548 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus."
Sima Sadat Lari on Saturday about the latest data on the coronavirus and the deaths caused by the virus said: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to August 1 in the country, 2,548 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed and the number of patients with this disease reached 306,752. And also 1,067 of the new patients were hospitalized."
The Spokeswoman said: "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 216 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 16,982 people have lost their lives in the country to date."
The official stated: "4011 patients are in intensive care units."
"So far, around 2,482,553 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.
According to the spokeswoman, Tehran, Mazandaran, Golestan, Fars, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Isfahan, Alborz, Ilam, Khorasan Razavi, Kerman, North Khorasan, Semnan, Lorestan and Hormozgan are in Red zone.
Also, she added West Azerbaijan, Khuzestan, Bushehr, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Zanjan, Hamedan, Kohgiluyeh, and Boyer Ahmad, Markazi, Yazd, Gilan, and Qom provinces are on alert.
