Petrochemical production will increase by 4 million tons
Tehran (IP) - The CEO of National Petrochemical Company (NPC), Behzad Mohammadi has said that 27 projects are going to be inaugurated in the second phase of the country's petrochemical industry.
Iran Press/ Iran News: Referring to the inauguration of three major petrochemical projects on Thursday, Mohammadi said: "These projects include Kaveh Methanol Petrochemical complex, Middle East Kimia Pars Petrochemical Company, and Lorestan Catalyst projects with a total investment of $ 1.57 billion which will increase the production capacity more than 4 million tons."
he added: "27 projects are to be inaugurated in the second phase of the country's petrochemical industry, which will be put into operation at the end of 2021."
"Of this number, 17 projects will be put into operation by the end of this year and will increase the capacity from 66 million tons to 90 million tons. At the end of 2021, we will reach a capacity of 100 million tons and revenue of 25 billion dollars," he concluded. 104/207
