Tehran (IP) - Iran's Chief of Presidential Staff said that the United States has failed in all its actions in the UN Security Council since leaving JCPOA, the last of which took place last Friday.

Iran Press/Iran News: Chief of Presidential Staff Mahmoud Vaezi on Wednesday, on the sideline of the cabinet meeting, said: "The Americans are no longer members of JCPOA and can no longer trigger the JCPOA's snapback mechanism."

"The president of the United States has publicly announced that he has left JCPOA. The whole world knows that they are not members of the nuclear agreement and are not fulfilling their obligations," Vaezi said.

Referring to the comments of lawyers around the world, Vaezi said: "Trump is very weak compared to his rival in the US presidential election and is very low in the polls and is using propaganda techniques."

He added: "Trump recently used propaganda techniques by establishing relations between the UAE and the Zionist regime; he wants to change public opinion, which is not possible.

"It does not matter to Iran who will be the next president of the United States," he said, adding that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always had a principled policy.

Referring to US officials' alleged seizure of four Iranian oil tankers, Vaezi said: "These ships do not belong to Iran. In any case, oil is being traded in international waters and we do not pursue the oil we sell and get the money for." 101
