The Iranian university entrance exams, also known as Konkur are held nationwide while observing health protocols.

Iran Press/Iran news: Students in Iran sit for the multiple-choice nationwide exam every year in June or July to gain admission to higher education by seeking a place in one of the public universities. However, this year the exam has been postponed to August due to coronavirus outbreak.

This year, 1,399,233 volunteers are participating in the five disciplines of Iran's largest scientific competition, and compared to last year, it shows an increase of 24,000 people.
