The fourth generation of light turbofan engine was also unveiled today, which is made in Iran for the first time; This engine is used in advanced drones.

The fourth-generation turbofan engine significantly increases Iran's power in the field of light turbofan engines and upgrades existing engines by at least one generation.

Two missiles named (martyr Lt. Gen.) Qassem Soleimani ballistic missile and Abu-Mahdi cruise missile were also unveiled.

Friday (August 21) is named as National Defense Industry Day in Iran.

Unveiling of the exhibition of achievements of UAV power, inauguration of the production line of the national light turbojet engine (peak), unveiling of the ballistic missile of Martyr Lt. Gen Ghassem Soleimani (range 1400 km) and cruise missile of Martyr Abu Mahdi (range of 1000 km) and the unveiling of the light turbofan engine, was one of the national achievements of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, which was operationalized and unveiled by the order of the President of Iran.
