Isfahan (IP) - The first turbofan engine of the fourth generation and ballistic and cruise missile production line was unveiled with Iran's President and the Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support in attendance via video conferencing.

Iran Press/Iran News: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami, on Thursday, August 20, on the eve of the National Defense Industry Day inaugurated a drone exhibition and the production line of the "owj" engine for Kowsar jet fighter in Isfahan via video conferencing.

Unveiling of the exhibition of achievements of UAV power, inauguration of the production line of the national light turbojet engine (peak), unveiling of the ballistic missile of Martyr Lt. Gen Ghassem Soleimani (range 1400 km) and cruise missile of Martyr Abu Mahdi (range of 1000 km) and the unveiling of the light turbofan engine, was one of the national achievements of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, which was operationalized and unveiled by the order of the President of Iran.

Friday (August 21) is named as National Defense Industry Day in Iran.
