Tehran(IP): Tehran (IP) - The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the occasion of Defense Industry Day (August 21), stated: " The defense capability of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the efforts of experts and revolutionary forces, has today become a clear symbol of the failure of the policies of the enemies of the Islamic Revolution over the past forty-one years."

Iran Press/Iran News: The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated in a statement on Thursday: "In recent years, the country's defense industry has taken significant and effective measures to free Iran's civilian industry from the tyranny of global arrogant sanctions."

Referring to the United States' fiasco to extend Iran's arms embargo, the statement said: "The United States has turned the West Asian region into a major gunpowder depot over the past decades by launching an Iranophobia project and exporting military weapons, but it has always feared the indigenous and defensive power of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The statement also emphasized: "In the path of scientific-research efforts and the achievement of advanced defense technologies and strategic weapons in various fields of land, air, sea, and missiles, Iran's army will be by the side of the country's defense industry to pave the way for the country to become stronger."
