Deputy FM Araghchi: US request to snap back Iran's sanctions, null and void

Deputy Foreign Minister of Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi said that the US request to the UN Security Council to ‘snap back’ sanctions against Iran is null and void.
Iran Press/Iran News: Araghchi said on Twitter that US notification is incapable of having legal effect.
US notification is incapable of having legal effect. Its null and void. None of the remaining JCPOA participants considers the notification as effective.

We trust the SC will not permit the US to abuse Res 2231 to achieve its stated objective of destroying that very resolution.
