Tehran (IP) - The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) ground forces announced in a statement that Hamzeh Seyyed al-Shohada (AS) command clashed with a terrorist group in Maku County, in the West Azerbaijan Province, and destroyed the terrorist group.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Last evening, a terrorist group, which intended to infiltrate Iranian territory, was identified by intelligence forces of Hamzeh Seyyed al-Shohada (AS) command located in Maku County.

According to the report, all three members of the terrorist team were killed in clashes with the IRGC forces.

The statement said: "Significant quantities of weapons, equipment, ammunition and communication systems were seized from the terrorists during the clashes."
