Tehran (IP) - At the 37th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) which was held in Japan, Iran's four-member team won three silver and one bronze medal.

Iran Press/ Iran news: The World Olympiad was held virtually due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

Arian Hassani, Nazgol Mahimani, and Mohammad Amin Sabbaghi Lalimi won silver medals and Amir Hossein Shahsvand Davoodi won bronze medals.

 The ranking of the countries has not been announced yet.

In the previous round of these competitions, the Iranian national team won three silver and one bronze medal.     207/209
