Yazd (IP)- Sponge iron production unit of Ardakan Steel Complex in Yazd was put into operation in the presence of President Hassan Rouhani, as well as the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade and the Governor of Yazd.

Iran Press/ Iran News: The production capacity of the factory is 960,000 tons of sponge iron per year.

Yazd Steel Complex will operate with the aim of meeting part of the domestic needs of steel unit productions as well as the complete production chain, including concentrate unit, pelletizing unit, sponge iron, smelting, and steel unit, and also rolling mills.
