Rail trade and transportation between Iran and Turkey increases

Tehran (IP) - The head of Iran-Turkey joint chamber of commerce Mehrdad Sa'adat Dehghan, said that after the coronavirus outbreak, rail transportation between Iranian and Turkish traders has been interesting compared to the past year.
Iran Press/ Iran news: Mehrdad Sa'adat referring to the closure of borders following the outbreak of coronavirus, said: "This year, due to the outbreak of coronavirus, trade has decreased compared to the first quarter of last year, but with the reopening of borders, manufacturers and exporters are trying to compensate."
"At present, 150 wagons of goods are exchanged daily between the two countries," he added.
Regarding some rumors that Turkey will not buy gas from Iran after the discovery of gas reserves in the Black Sea, Sa'adat said: "Turkey has not officially announced such a decision to Iran."
