Rasht (IP) - These days are the end of rice harvest from the farms in Gilan province in northern Iran.

Iran Press/Iran News: Rice is the seed of the grass species Oryza sativa, commonly known as Asian rice, they grow on a stem. It must be grown in the land with maximum water.

They planted it in the spring, and the harvest starts in mid-early August.

When farmers starting to harvest, the rice field should be dry.
