    Rouhani urges measures to prepare and test coronavirus vaccine inside

Tehran (IP) - In a conversation with the Ministers of Interior and Health, the President of Iran appreciated the strict observance of health protocols by the mourners of Aba Abdullah Al-Hussein (AS) in Muharram.

Iran PressIran News: On Sunday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, in a conversation with Saeed Namaki, Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, referring to the news about the availability of coronavirus vaccine in some countries, ordered the necessary measures to purchase this vaccine and said that experimental and diagnostic steps should be taken in order to start effective measures in the country as soon as possible.

The President added: "Considering the spread of the second wave of the Covid-19 outbreak, the Ministry of Health should take the necessary measures to prevent the fatigue of the country's medical personnel and, if necessary, take faster training of new personnel and replace them."

Rouhani stressed that the most important point in this regard is that people strictly follow the health protocols to prevent double effort, fatigue, and burnout for the country's health forces, who are more than 6 months at the forefront of the fight against Coronavirus.

Rouhani described the religious and committed behavior of the people in holding their glorious and different mourning processions, along with the strict observance of health protocols based on the rich religious culture of the people and their commitment to humanitarian issues and altruism. 

He went on to say: "I hope that people in all ceremonies in the months of Muharram and Safar will continue to follow the hygienic instructions carefully so that no one gets infected by Coronavirus as a result of participating in the mourning rituals of Imam Hussein (AS).” 

The President also responded to the concerns of the Ministers of Health and Interior about the new wave of summer trips during the recent holidays and said those who travel should strictly follow health guidelines, social distancing, and avoid crowded places,  to avoid a negative impact on the success achieved in controlling the second wave of Coronavirus.
