Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz ousted the country's foreign and transport ministers Wednesday night.
Iran Press/Middle East: Following the ouster of Ibrahim al-Assaf and Nabil al-Amoudi, the king of Saudi Arabia appointed former Saudi ambassador to Germany Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud as foreign minister and Saleh Al-Jasser as transport minister.
Ibrahim al-Assaf replaced Saudi Arabia's ousted foreign minister Adel al-Jobair last year after the controversial assassination of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul but was fired in less than a year.
On October 2, 2018, Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was brutally killed at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul by agents sent from Riyadh.
