Unknown people gather outside Iranian mission in Karbala

A group of unknown people gathered outside Iran's Consulate General in Karbala, Iraq on Sunday night.

Iran Press/ Middle East: Local police sources said that the law enforcement forces were stationed around the diplomatic mission and have no order to disperse the gathering.

Iranian Consul General in Karbala Mir-Masoud Husseinian said that the situation was under control.

Earlier on that day, Iraqi security forces managed to identify and arrest a United Arab Emirates spying team consisting of several Lebanese and Iraqi nationals in the capital Baghdad.
