UN General Assembly's Fourth Committee on Friday condemned the Israeli regime's excessive use of lethal force against civilian Palestinians, issuing eight resolutions in support of the rights of Palestinians and Syria's sovereignty over occupied Golan Heights.

Iran Press/Middle East: The resolutions blasted Israeli land, sea and air siege of Gaza Straight, construction of illegal settlements on Palestinian lands, arresting of Palestinians and demolition of their houses and called for the return of Palestinians to their motherland,

In a  resolution on Syrian Golan, the Israeli regime was urged to act on UN resolutions and end the occupation of Golan Heights.

The resolutions issued following days of deadly Israeli air attacks on Gaza Strip were passed despite of the objection by the US, Canada, and Israeli delegations.
