Iran's Minister of Education Mohsen Haji Mirzaei held a meeting with the Syrian Higher Education Minister Bassam Ibrahim on Thursday, January 23 in Damascus.
Iran Press/Middle East: The two sides discussed issues of mutual interests. Earlier, Iran's Minister of Education also held a meeting with the Syrian Prime Minister, Imad Khamis.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the Education Sector was signed by Iran's Minister of Education and the Syrian Prime Minister after holding a bilateral meeting.
During their meeting, the Syrian Prime Minister called for knowledge transfer from Iran to Syria.
Heading a delegation, Iran's Minister of Education arrived in the Syrian capital of Damascus on Tuesday night.
