Palestine (IP) - Center for Studies of Palestinian Prisoners reported that the situation of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons was unsatisfactory and that their lives were in danger.

Iran Press/ Middle East: The center's spokesman Riyadh al-Ashqar said that the Zionist regime's performance to protect the lives of Palestinian prisoners in Coronavirus situation was much lower than desired.

He stressed that international organizations, especially the World Health Organization (WHO), should immediately send a delegation to Palestinian detention centers to find out the threats they face.

Currently, there are about 6,000 Palestinians in Israeli prisons, 200 of whom are children and 700 of whom are ill.
