Iraq is independent and does not need anyone's intervention
Iran's ambassador to Baghdad emphasized that Iraq is an independent country and doesn’t need to anyone’s intervention.
Iran Press/Middle East: Iraj Masjedi in a message in his twitter account dismissed a claim by the US deputy foreign minister who accused Iran of interfering in Iraq’s affairs.
“Iraq is an independent country and doesn’t need anyone’s intervention. The US is better to terminate its policy of lie and threat."

This comes as the Iraqi minister of power in a speech, pointing to the problems of the Iraqi electricity industry, said that the country will continue its policy of importing gas from Iran.
Iraqi minister said: “Iraq will continue to import electricity from Jordan, as well as connecting to the GCC's electricity network and to import gas from Iran in the near future.” 101/207
