Several rockets hit US military base near Baghdad airport

Iraqi media reported on Tuesday evening that several rockets hit the Victoria military base near Baghdad International Airport.
Iran Press/ Middle East: The Iraqi Tigris satellite network reported on Tuesday evening, quoting a source in the country, that several Katyushas had hit the "Victoria" military base near Baghdad airport.
Iraqi Alsumaria TV also confirmed that several rockets hit the base, citing informed sources.
Victoria is one of the most important US air bases in Iraq, close to the US Embassy in Baghdad, and has a runway for all types of aircraft. This base hosts one thousand soldiers.
On January 5, 2020, members of the Iraqi parliament approved a plan to expel US troops from Iraqi territory.
