The head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Unit, al-Hashd al-Shabi, reiterated the need to expel US troops from the country.

Alfayyadh stressed that the Iraqi parliament's decision to expel US troops was fundamentally linked to the assassination of resistance martyrs and that the Iraqi government was following the parliament's decision and had begun talks with Washington to implement it.

Lt. Gen. Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes were prominent figures in the fight against Takfiri and terrorist groups, including ISIS, in the West Asian region.
