The Lebanese Prime Minister will deliver a speech tonight.

Iran Press/ Middle East: Al-Mayadin reported that Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab will speak to the Lebanese people on television tonight.

Hassan Diab has declared Wednesday a day of national mourning in the aftermath of Tuesday’s massive explosion in the Beirut port area, the national broadcaster TeleLiban reported.

Lebanese authorities said earlier that the explosion has left a large number of people killed or injured.

In another development, al Manar TV reported that Nazar Najarian, the secretary-general of Lebanon's Kataeb political party, dies of wounds sustained from the Beirut explosion.
