Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al Kazemi attended Ashura night ritual at Ammar al-Hakim office.

Iran Press/ Middle East: On the occasion of the tenth night of Muharram 1442 AH, the office of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Iraqi Coalition in the Iraqi parliament, has observed Ashura ritual last night.

Iraq's Ammar Hakim office annually holds Imam Hussein's mourning ceremony during the first decade of Muharram.

The Commemoration ceremony of Muharram was also held in New York, with mourners from different countries took part in the ceremony.

Ashura marks the climax of the Remembrance of Muharram, the annual commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein at the Battle of Karbala on 10 Muharram in the year 61 AH.
