Iranian teenager wrestlers grab gold, bronze in Moscow Christmas matches
Iran's U15 wrestlers bagged two gold medals and one bronze medal on the opening day of the 3rd Christmas tournament in Moscow outshining in the first five weight classes.
Ebrahim Khavar (45 kg) and Ali Arab Firoozjaei (48) beat all their opponents to mark a golden start for Iran's squad on Thursday.
Ali Gholizadegan (55 kg) grabbed bronze medal and Yousef Jabari (60 kg) stood at the fifth rank.
Matches for the second five weight classes will be held on Friday in which Iranian wrestlers are scheduled to face their rivals in all classes.
The 3rd Moscow Christmas tournament is underway on December 26-28 organized by the United World Wrestling.
