Iran has maintained its world ranking of 4th place among top publishers of nanotechnology articles while also there has been a remarkable increase in number of published scientific articles comparing to last year.
"One of the best way of confronting sanctions is to produce vital medicines for patients in Iran", according to professor Hassan AbolGhassemi, a professor of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology.
Iranian biotechnology researchers have succeeded in producing a nano-medicine for treatment of Thalassemia, a blood disorder.
