Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on international community to support Palestinians
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry urged the international community to support the Palestinian people.
Iran Press/ Middle East: The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement on Tuesday, emphasizing the need to oppose the unilateral resolutions expressing support for Israel, Iran Press reported.
The resolution emphasized on the resistance of the Palestinian people against the position of the governments who introduce the occupied Al-Qods as the capital of the Zionist regime, and move their embassies to the holy city.
Despite global opposition, on December 6. 2017, US president "Donald Trump" recognized Al-Qods as the capital of Israel. That's while, the Trump decision is in clear contradiction with the 478 UN resolution which calls upon all states to refrain from the establishment of diplomatic missions in the Holy City of Al-Qods.
The United States officially opened its embassy to Israel in al-Quds on May 2018, as Israeli forces killed dozen of Palestinian protesters.
